We’re perched on bar stools, two girls at the kitchen island at 7am in the morning, one with coffee, one with water, tapping away on our computers. Secretly, I’m jealous of my daughter’s computer. It’s a hot pink and sings to her. Why doesn’t my computer sing to me? Probably because she gets tired of me pounding on her keyboard. I’ve had this computer for a year and half and have already gone through two keyboards. She might have also taken a nose dive or two from my work bag in the car when I, um hum, exhibited a less-than-graceful stop. Darn those red lights. They seriously slow my roll.
Anyway, I’m knee deep in editing and loving it. I love knowing there is always a session waiting in the wings to be edited. It makes me happy. Photography makes me happy. Editing makes me happy. And it makes me happy that I took Thoreau’s advice that is now staring at me from my Starbucks coffee cup: go confidently in the direction of your dreams! live the life you’ve imagined. I’m workin on it my man Thoreau! I hope you are too!
So as I head off to get some othet little people up and kick the day off, thought I’d leave you with one of a gorgeous pregnant mama I had the pleasure of photographing last week. More to come soon!
Have a GREAT day!

Breathtaking!
Thank you so much for this amazing picture. I remember you told me to think of my husband and it was during those moments that I reflected on how grateful I was to be his wife and be carrying our baby.
