I’m going to douse this post with a little reminder of another post from yesterday, Crank it up! , that was buried among much longer posts made later. Again, this morning, as I sit watching the news I’m sitting here crying watching footage and hearing about this horrific violence consuming Israel and Gaza right now. A gentlemen being interviewed in Israel really brought the point home when saying how he had celebrated the New Year in Times Square just but a few years ago with his family and that, tonight, as a million or so people celebrated there again - so that many would be cowering in their bunkers and homes, praying they wouldn’t be hit. I think of all the families, the children, the mothers, the fathers, the grandparents….and then this ugly violence ripping through, shattering their world.
So, this is a shout out - one that hopefully reaches a lot of you - to please put these people in your thoughts tonight as we bring in the New Year and let’s pray their New Year brings with it peace and a little tranquility. And remember, turn that speaker on and CRANK IT UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
